Abstract
Hypertonic Na solutions were administered into intraperitoneal cavities of rats fed on high sodium diet with 5.0 ml per 100g of weight and it was observed that entire cases died within 20 minutes.
No differences in survival times following injections were found between above group and control group.
In the cases of rats administered hypertonic Na solutions with 3.0 ml per 100 g of weight, obvious prolongations in survival times were observed comparing in the control group.
In the groups of rats fed on high sodium diet, it was observed that the increments of weights were remarkably diminished and the growth as well as the gloss of furs was distinetly poor.
